The yacht is an ETAP 39S built in 2004. I sailed her across the Atlantic in 2005, and am returning her to the states. The ETAP 39S is certified unsinkable, and she is outfitted with all offshore safety equipment available, to include Iridium voice and data, 2 x EPIRBs, radar, autopilot, gale sail, sea anchor and drogue, etc.

While safety is always first for us, we are both very relaxed, and always in good humor. My son will be doing school onboard. I am a retired fighter pilot, flew in combat multiple times, so not much phases me anymore:).
Basically another 2 adults on the boat for safety reasons, and would be an added bonus to cook one meal a day. All transportation to and from the yacht is the responsibility of the crew.
