I am currently working as skipper aboard an Oyster 70 sailing yacht in the Med.
This work is only part time at the moment, and am looking for a full time position in a similar role, or as Mate/watchkeeper.
I hold an MCA Master 200gt & OOW 500gt certificate.

Master 200/OOW 500 as well as GOC radio operators liscence, RYA radar, RYA powerboat level 2 and STCW 95 training. I also hold a PADI advanced open water diving certificate and MCA approved engineering certificate.
Before being employed as skipper aboard my current boat, I was sole engineer and stand in captain for a 138ft classic ketch.
Have worked as sailing instructor in Croatia for 3 years. Working from February to the end of November for a learn to sail holiday company, teaching on 1/2 week liveaboard courses aboard sailing yachts between 30 and 40ft.
I am mechanically minded, with years of experince working on yachts, dignhies and cars, as well as working as a mechanic for some years. Confident int he repair and maintenance of all modern systems aboard Cruising yachts, including electrics, Diesel engines, Plumbing and rigging.
